Weekend has gone swimmingly thus far.
Johnny boys mum made me a tortoise cake based on my very own tortoise. I cant even contemplate cutting into it, I'll have to get Jon to do it whilst Im in another room with my hands over my eyes.
Spent the afternoon at http://www.bartongrange.co.uk/gardencent
We then headed over to the gardens, I bought a couple of leafy plants, bundles of seeds (rocket, grasses and suchlike) and a bunch of daffs.
When I got home later on in the afternoon, I donned my hunters and spent a few hours in the garden sowing seeds and watering the plants/trees.
This is the baby corner, for my little plants that need a wee bit of shelter from the elements. Theres an Acer, minature weeping willow, weeping birch, twisted hazel, basil tree and lots of seedlings.

Have apparently agreed to do this (03/10/09) and am actually looking forward to it.
Shall be accompanying our Emer on this, she asked me what being on a mountain is like, my reply-
'its like being stood in a field, but higher up, with more rocks'
I keep forgetting Im off to see TakeThat in a few months, we've decided that we will go to day spa beforehand, watch the show then hit the town with our fabulously glowing skin, stay overnight in a nice hotel and spend the next day milling around ManchestAR shopping/eating/seeing pretty things.
Next friday is my night out, and I still havent found anything appropriate to wear.
